Discover Your Unique Business Success Blueprint through Human Design
Human Design and Your Business
You can use your Human Design chart as an map that shows you how to shift into energetic alignment and have the best experience in this lifetime. That includes navigating your journey as a business owner.
Running a business is all about making decisions. You’re the boss, applesauce. Some decisions are easier to make than others. There can be so many options to choose or ideas to try, which can overwhelm you to the point of inaction.
Working with your Human Design can help you cut through the noise and doubt so you can make business decisions that will work for you both as a business owner and a human being.
Strategy and Authority: If you only start with one aspect of your Human Design, start by working with your strategy and authority. Your Human Design strategy is just that – a strategy for making decisions according to your energetic aura. For example, some aura types are meant to initiate, some are meant to be invited in. Following your strategy can help simplify your decision-making process.
Your Human Design Authority can help you gain clarity in your decisions, especially if you’re faced with a dilemma. It’s often referred to as your “inner wisdom keeper.” For some, the authority will be listening to your gut or that little whispering voice of your intuition. For others, it may be tuning into your emotions and waiting for clarity to see how you feel about something before you make a decision.
Often in business, we are told: “You don’t know what you don’t know.” That advice may be true in certain circumstances. Unfortunately, it’s often used as a tactic to disempower you and persuade you to follow an external authority figure who gives you generic, cookie-cutter advice. This advice can also be internalized, leaving you to feel helpless or searching for someone to simply tell you what decisions to make.
Ultimately, you’ll find your own version of success in business once you develop trust in your decision-making skills. Working with your Human Design can empower you to make decisions based on what works for you, not what someone else tells you what you “should” do.
Marketing and Networking
A large part of running a business involves marketing. Talking about what you do, what you offer, and making connections can take up large amounts of your time and energy.
A large part of Human Design is about discovering how the world responds to your unique energy, and how you can leverage your energy for effective interpersonal communication.
You can also work with your Human Design to craft your brand’s messaging and tone to best align with your ideal clients in ways that will resonate with them.
For example, you may be someone whose energy is more sensitive and empathic than fiery and outgoing. Simply confirming what energy you’re putting out there can give you volumes of clarity on how to interact with others.
You can also craft strategies for the types of content you create or the types of communication you use to market your business.
For example, you may find you have a gift for public speaking that you can nurture, which may be an approach you hadn’t considered. Or, you may have been focusing on written content, but creating short-form video content may be more aligned with your energy output.
The same idea can apply to your creating your own networking strategies. There’s more than one way to network and build relationships. Not everyone is designed to interact with multitudes of people on a regular basis, and that’s okay. You may find that you’ll be much more successful with a smaller, deeper network of people who refer clients to you, even though you may have been trying to cold-call strangers in order to drum up leads.
Creating and Selling Offers
Creating and selling offers can also be a sticking point for business owners. You may be flooded with ideas for different offers. On the other hand, you may know who you want to serve, but you may not know what to offer them.
You can use your Human Design to help you prioritize your ideas. You can also use it to gain insight on which direction you can take, even if it’s subject to change in the future.
You can also work with your Human Design to identify which offers your audience will be drawn to and resonate with. Sometimes a few simple tweaks are all you need to move into alignment and tap into your success.
To dig a little deeper, your Human Design can also show you what selling points to focus on. Often in business, we’re told to focus on selling the benefits of your offer instead of the features The same concept is true when you look at selling through the lens of Human Design. However, you can go way beyond that when you work with your Human Design and create a plan for even more specific, laser-focused selling points.
Designing Your Work Schedule and Environment
Most people start their own businesses to have more free time and avoid the burnout they experienced as an employee. Unfortunately, most entrepreneurs find it hard to detach from overworking.
When you embrace your unique energetic blueprint, you can craft a work schedule that supports your energetic needs. This new way of approaching a work schedule can also support your creative process and natural rhythms for work, rest and recovery.
This approach can help you create energetic boundaries and scheduling for tasks like attending meetings, communicating with clients or creating your deliverables and products.
You can even look to your Human Design to help you create the ideal workspace that will get you into your energetic flow.
Leadership and Team-Building
As a business owner, you are also the leader of your business. There is more than one way to be a leader, and you guessed it – your Human Design will show you what leadership style works for you.
For example, you may lead by focusing your energy on those who are energetically open to receiving your influential message. You may lead by example as you embody your own uniqueness, which in turn inspires others. Or, you may lead by helping projects reach the finish line.
In terms of team-building and organizational communication, you can use Human Design as a tool similar to Myers-Briggs or DISC to create a cohesive, efficient team with a variety of strengths and diversity.
Where to start
Human Design is a robust and detailed system of information. You can start by working with your aura type’s strategy and authority. Next, you can look to your energy centers for insight into how you experience energy around work output, emotions, intuition, career direction, processing information and more.
You can also develop an understanding of your Human Design gates and channels, which offer extremely specific details on our gifts and potential pitfalls.
You can save yourself time, energy, money and confusion trying to figure out how to run a successful business simply by working with the details of your Human Design chart.
Working with a Human Design practitioner can help you simplify the process so you can collapse time and streamline your alignment.
You will find that this work allows you to create a balanced and aligned business that fits into your life, instead of the other way around.
