Find Work that Satisfies You

I’ve said this before specifically for Generators, but the same applies for Manifesting Generators, too: “Just because you can do something, that doesn’t mean you should.” This goes for life, in general, and also for your career.

Your defined Sacral Center means that you technically can generate tons of energy for doing work, but it’s important to follow your strategy and say yes to work that will satisfy you and keep you engaged. That may feel like a luxury in the uncertain climate of this economy, but it’s important to remember that satisfaction is essential to your experience in this lifetime. So, do what you can to work in roles and industries that don’t frustrate you or make you feel slowed down.

Be honest with yourself when it’s time to say yes or no to a job or career path. If you don’t get that clear “Yessss” sensation from your Sacral Voice and you proceed anyway, you may feel miserable about your work. (And if you have an emotional authority, don’t make your decision in haste. Sleep on it and see if you still feel that “Yessss.” If so, proceed.)

Be mindful of what options you respond to and why. If you’re making decisions that are out of alighment, there is also the chance that you’ll be trapped by your own success or constantly quitting and starting over.

Visualize, Inform, and Respond

Manifesting Generators may find more career satisfaction by doing visualization exercises about work.

You can try journaling or speaking about how you want to feel when you work, what your workplace looks like, and what type of work you’re doing. Really paint that picture for yourself. This will help activate your gifts for manifesting and fast action. Once you’ve done that, respond to your visualization. Is it a yes? Is it a no? What do you need? What do you desire? Doing visualization exercises can help you close the gap between a “jobby job” that pays your bills but leaves you unsatisfied to being on an aligned career path.

The Power of the Channel of Charisma

It’s very important for you to be mindful of what you say and what you put out into the universe, especially if you have the Channel of Charisma. This is a channel that is unique to Manifesting Generators alone. This channel connects Gate 20 in your Throat Center to Gate 34 in your Sacral Center. If you have this channel, you have an extra-sensitive ability to manifest your reality and set actions and events into motion simply by responding to your outer world. I’ve seen this happen for all of my Manifesting Generator clients with this channel. They’ve been able to manifest more clients simply by responding to their empty calendar. Or, they’ve been able to have someone take responsibilities off of their workload simply by saying they didn’t want to do certain tasks. Or, they’ve been able to call in supplies and resources when they were doing work and ran out of what they needed.

If you’re a Manifesting Generator, you may have had experiences like these that you thought were merely coincidences, but they may be a result of you having a defined Channel of Charisma. Check your Human Design bodygraph to be sure. Therefore, it’s extremely important for you to say what you mean and mean what you say so that you don’t find yourself in careers and jobs that are frustrating and unsatisfying.

Unique Attributes for the Manifesting Generator Career

What types of jobs are best for Manifesting Generators?  The short answer is, you can pretty much do anything, but you may feel most like yourself when you can switch things up often and juggle multiple things.  Manifesting Generators are often referred to as the multi-passionate multi-taskers of the Human Design aura types. You may also find yourself wanting to go fast and skip steps in your work projects or processes.

You may find that you change industries often, or you change jobs often. There’s nothing wrong with that, but keep in mind whether or not you feel frustrated. If so, it’s worth exploring why you find yourself in those situations time and again.

Ideally, you can look for careers that support your natural multi-tasking, fast-paced Sacral energy. You can benefit from working on short-term projects, juggling multiple clients or being able to improvise. Literally , you can do anything from sales and marketing to creative arts or consultation and project management.

However, you may find it difficult to work in roles that require you to stick to a strict protocol, script or step-by-step process, or roles that have little variety in their scope or have long-term commitments to one thing.

Because Manifesting Generators have a defined Throat Center, you will benefit from work that allows you to communicate and infomr (either verbally or in writing). Tap into your gift of gab!

Beyond the Aura: Exploring Your Chart

There are several places on your Human Design chart that you can explore to give you guidance for what type of career can satisfy you most.

Here is where you can look:

• Your Profile: In Human Design, your profile indicates your interpersonal and intrapersonal communication style. This can help you narrow down your search. For example, someone with a 1 / 3 profile would probably enjoy autonomous, research-based roles in spaces where trial and error are encouraged, whereas someone with a 4 / 6 profile may enjoy roles where networking and relationship-building are a large part of their duties.
• Your Energy Centers: While you may have a lot of energy to build and create through your defined Sacral Center, your other energy centers are part of your experience, too. You can gain deeper understanding into what work suits you and what your career trajectory can look like by understanding the relationship of all your centers.
• Your Gates and Channels: Each Human Design gate is like an archetype of energy, with unique characteristics and qualities. For example, someone with Gate 18 or Gate 13 may find themselves gravitating towards roles where they hold space for others and listen to their problems or secrets, while someone with Gate 26 can find success as an influencer or salesperson. The channels that connect one gate from one center to a gate from another center can give you even more insight into your defined energetic characteristics
